Carl Veart believes that Adelaide United should look to attack against Central Coast Mariners in the upcoming clash between the two sides.
The Mariners have had an incredible campaign so far and currently sit atop the A-League in their quest to attain AFC Champions League football next season.
Meanwhile, the Reds started their season well with a draw to Western United and a victory against Melbourne City, but have since slumped to four losses in their last five games.
As they come up against Alen Stajcic’s well oiled side, Veart believes that attack is the best form of defence when the two sides lock horns at Hindmarsh.
He said: “They’ve done exceptionally well so far this season so it’s important tomorrow night that we go out in a very positive mindset and attack them. That’s when we play our best football when we’re attacking.”
Adelaide United will take on Central Coast Mariners at Hindmarsh Stadium on Friday.
