Lachlan Rose has admitted that he is delighted with the support shown by fans of Macarthur FC in the inaugural A-League season for the Campbelltown outfit.
The 21-year-old put in solid performances for the Blacktown Spartans in 2019-20 and joined the Bulls in their first season in the Australian top flight, becoming an instant favourite with the fans for his darting runs down either flank.
Coupled with a flair for pushing forward with the ball, the youngster has also shown good positional play to become one of the better known players at the fledgling club.
“It’s just amazing to see the support, not just behind myself but behind the team,” Rose said on the official website of the A-League.
“The fans give you adrenaline, especially at a home game.
“For me especially, I use the adrenaline to just keep pushing and pushing.”
Having made five appearances in the A-League so far and impressing many with his exciting play, the young winger is keeping his feet planted firmly on the ground as he looks to improve his game.
Rose added: “You can improve every single day and my aim is to become better and better, and take on as much advise and guidance not just from the coaching staff but from the players as well.
“I wish I had the talent, but I got here pretty much because of me working hard and trying to learn every day. That’s my main thing – learning and trying to become a better footballer each day as it comes and just stay the same person I am.”
